Insulation is the electrical equipment in the different potential of the charged part isolated.
1. Insulation material has a high insulation resistance and compressive strength, to avoid leakage, breakdown and other accidents.
2. Heat resistance, to avoid long-term overheating and deterioration
3. Have good thermal conductivity, moisture-proof lightning resistance and high mechanical strength and process easy
Commonly used insulating material performance indicators are insulation strength, specific gravity, expansion coefficient.
Dielectric strength: the higher the voltage applied across the insulator, the greater the electric field force on the charge in the material, and the easier the ionization collides, resulting in breakdown of the insulator.
According to the degree of heat resistance, the insulation material is divided into Y, A, E, B, F, H, C level.
